SS501

Sidus Solutions’ SS 501 is a deep sea pointing and scaling device that utilizes a powerful 55 mW, 532 nm green laser. With a range of nearly 20 miles, this product outperforms other less powerful underwater laser devices. Pairing two SS 501 together in parallel separated by a known distance enables scaling of video and still images.
Adding an additional SS 501 at an intersecting beam angle enables measurement of object distance, useful for maintaining a constant object position. With a rugged anodized aluminium housing, fused silica, and operating depth of 6000 meter the SS 501 is distinctively suited for deep water applications.
